I bought this for my granddaughter at Christmas. She played with it once and wasn't impressed. It is now July and the toy is useless. The string glue has dried up and is not refillable. Not a good toy at all. Big waste of money and a disappointment for my granddaughter.

My daughter got this for her birthday and 3 of the 4 colors it came with the string broke off inside the tube the first time she tried to use it! Can't get the string back out or find any refills for it!!

This was given to my daughter as a birthday present. The instructions are somewhat confusing and the glue inside the string pens was all dried up. We followed the instructions and ran warm water over the string pen, this allowed the string to come loose from the glue. We were then able to pull the string out, but the glued was still too dried up. The glue is supposed to apply itself to the string as it comes out of the pen. We tried running the string pen under warm, then hot water, but it never worked. This product was a waste of our time. We are taking our daughter shopping this week to pick out another craft project that will actually work, in order to replace a defective present. What a mess.

My niece was not able to use the product as the string (which is coated in glue) was dried up in the pen.
She was not able to get the string to come out. Upon contacting the manufacturer the company was very accommodating in providing her the opportunity to select new merchandise equal to the value of the String World Activity kit. Apparently upon doing some research myself, there have been similar problems with this product for many others.
