This book is an adventure for all.

I love this book. As a parent who reads to her child most every night before bed, many childrens books are mind numbing and put "me" to sleep. We're going on a bear hunt keeps me entertained even if it has been a long day. Very few books, of this reading level, even ones I like, can do that! My daughter will participate and "read" along with me. Sometimes we add a bit here and there, a few extra swishes or wishes, and "poor bear looks sad at the end, he is all alone". We have this in a board book, but when I have extra funds I will get a hard back one to grow a bit with her. I keep meaning to check and see what else this author and illustrator offer.
I guess I'm off to do that now. You will not be disapointed with this one I believe.
My 14 Month Old Can't Get Enough of This Book! January 4, 2010

This story is so much fun to read aloud. It is interactive and gives a parent lots of chances to be expressive and act out the various scenes. My daughter will bring this book up to us and hold it out asking us to read it. It is long but a blast for the reader and child.
