Amazing!!! March 11, 2010 E. Railsback I brought home 10 books from the library tonight, and both of my kids (twins, age 3) fought over this book. It is the oldest and smallest of all of the books I brought home, reminding me that this is a classic for a reason! They liked the small size, because they both hold their books facing outward, the way I do when I read to them.
I honestly cannot say what they liked the most about this book, because my favorite was "I Love You, Stinky Face." But this book was like a magnet to them; they instantly took to it.
Empowering February 19, 2010 Shalla DeGuzman (Bamberg, Germany) This book is empowering to kids... they need something, they can do what Harold does, imagine it and draw it into creation.
I'd also recommend Corduroy (40th Anniversary Edition), and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Book and Memory Game (The World of Eric Carle)
Great book for the imagination February 10, 2010 K. Callahan I had this book as a child, so I had to get it for my son. He was just shy of 3 at Christmas, and he likes this book. He's old enough to enjoy the imagination behind the book.
Fabulous January 22, 2010 Jenny (Kent: Washington, USA) This is not only an adorable, easy read. It feeds your child's imagination! One of my favorite book of all time!
a classic January 18, 2010 Chinadoll (CA) I enjoyed this book when I was a child, enjoyed reading it to my children, and now I will enjoy reading it my grandchildren.
