I had forgotten that I ordered this for my grandaughter, so I hope she is enjoying it. My kids used to recieve it, and they loved it. I always enjoyed looking through it with them.

I got this magazine as a child and loved it. Boy, how things change. Will not be renewing this sub. I'll find something else that doesn't' push the leftist/Peta/animal rights agenda.

We have subscribed for over three years, still my son can't put it down. The day it arrives in the mail he reads the whole magazine and absolutely loves it. I like the fact that has no advertisement and the narticles and photographs are really high quality. The photographs are many times from the best photographers in the world.
Undoubtely the best magazine for kids that love nature and animals.

This is a wonderful magazine with NO advertising of commercial products. All our kids like to look at this magazine, it has Real photos, and keeps the interest of the older kids (8-10-12) It's not gender specific, my girls and boys both like it. Big Back Yard is good too, but better for the 4-8 year old set. Ranger Rick is great for independent readers. And if you're ok with them learning about environmental issues from a "go green" perspective it is fine for them to read unsupervised.
